Dr. Olakunle Adegbile
Dr. Olakunle Adegbile was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and moved to the United States in 1996. He is a proud veteran of the United States Army. His hobbies include writing, soccer, and construction. He frequents both Georgia and Ohio—where he lived prior to active duty in the army. He states, “If I wasn’t an optometrist, I’d likely be an electrician or a local politician.” Dr. Adegbile loves finding what needs improvement and taking steps to improve it. His two published books are: “The Nigerian Optometrist”, and “Gift of Senses”.
Dr. Malika Rajendra
Dr. Malika Rajendra was raised in Fayette County Georgia. She graduated from Sandy Creek High school in Tyrone, Ga in 2004. Dr. Rajendra studied Microbiology at the University of Georgia where she graduated with honors in 2007. She started optometry school in 2008 in Memphis, TN where she graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in 2012.
Dr Rajendra’s interest in optometry started when she volunteered for a program called Unite for Sight in 2006. While studying at UGA she worked as a vision therapist at Five Point Eye Care in Athens, Ga. Her clinical externships took place at the VA hospital in Memphis, TN and in Marietta, Ga at Dorfzaun Eye Care. Dr. Rajendra enjoys taking time to get to know her patients order to give e them the best quality eye care.
She loves spending her free time with her family. Her passion outside of work include traveling, especially to any beach. She is also a self-proclaimed foodie. Goooo Dawgs!!
Dr. Chinonyerem Osuji
Dr. Chinonyerem Osuji is an optometrist based in Atlanta Ga. She competed a Bachelors in Biology and a minor in History from Young Harris college in 2012. In addition, she did a post-Baccalaureate science program at Georgia State University and Clayton State College.
She completed her Doctorate in Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2018. She comes from a large family and is passionate about Disease in eye care specifically Glaucoma as she has seen how this has affected her own family members.
She enjoys spending time with her family, making Nigerian dishes such as plantain and jollof rice. An avid spin biker and HIIT workout enthusiast.
